From Feminism to the Woke Agenda

 Part 1: The Rift of 1792 and the First Wave

History begins at the end of the 18th century. In 1792, Mary Wollstonecraft published A Vindication of the Rights of Woman in England, laying the foundations of the first feminist wave.

​The author's intention was just and entirely logical. She wanted to put an end to the social degradation of women and grant them the right to education. However, influenced by the intellectual currents of the Western Enlightenment, she chose to ground her demands exclusively on the tools of right reason. It is precisely there that the first intellectual shift occurs.

​Until then, human worth was based on being created in the image of God—a being made for relationship and love. Wollstonecraft, however, following Western thought, defined the human being by their rational capacity. She argued that since women possess the same capacity for reason as men, they must become entirely autonomous through education.

​Thus, liberation turned into a trap.

​Human worth ceased to stem from spiritual uniqueness and began to be measured in terms of utility and individual rights.

​Freedom was disconnected from relationship. Women were taught that to be free, they had to be independent of men, essentially copying the cold, individualistic model of the West.

​Western thought replaced this "togetherness" with the idea that everyone must be self-sufficient. Women were taught that to be free, they must be independent, needing no one. Thus, relationship lost its warmth. Freedom ceased to mean loving and sharing one's life, becoming instead a cold contract between two people who merely look to secure their rights.

​This first philosophical rift of 1792 opened a Pandora's box. If freedom means being entirely autonomous and detached from the community, then the questioning would not stop at gender equality. It would proceed to the deconstruction of the family and, ultimately, to the denial of biology itself, as we see happening today.

​In our land, however, we know well that man is not made to live alone. In our memory, we always hold the image of the mother staying up all night beside her sick child. She is not there because she lacks options, but because her decision to offer herself is the freest act of her life. This freedom is not measured by legal rights; it is experienced as love. And because the modern mindset is incapable of understanding this depth, it chooses to call it oppression.
